Overview
In the circle of life, unfortunately there comes a day to say goodbye.
When chronic pain can no longer be controlled by medication, advanced cancer or other incurable illness makes life unbearable, when all dignity is lost due to severe dementia, paralysis, and incontinence, the time will come to help your beloved pet cross that rainbow bridge.
The procedure involves giving a general anaesthetic overdose, resulting in a calm, quick, and painless end. As this can be a very emotional time, we prefer to make such appointments for less busy times when there are not many other people in the clinics.
Depending on your requests for your pet’s remains, we will usually then organise to have them cremated at Legacy Pet Cremation Services in Cato Ridge. They offer a range of cremation options, and we have full confidence that they handle your beloved pet’s remains with dignity.
